Online Indian Dietitian — Indian Diet Plans, Wherever You Live
Dt. Himani Sharma is a clinical dietitian with 14+ years of experience and 5,000+ clients. Consultations are fully online — by video call and WhatsApp — so you can work with her from Dubai, Riyadh, Doha, London, New York, Toronto, Sydney, Singapore or anywhere else, with a plan built from Indian food you can actually buy where you live.
Indian food, planned for the country you live in
Moving to a new country changes how you eat. Work hours run longer, winters are colder, the supermarket shelves look different and family recipes do not always fit the new routine. Generic diet apps answer with salads and smoothies — food that does not feel like home and rarely lasts beyond a few weeks.
Dt. Himani Sharma builds your plan the other way round. It starts from the dal, roti, rice, sabzi, curd and regional dishes you grew up with, then fits them to your body, your lab reports and the groceries available in your city. Where a staple is hard to find, the plan swaps in a local equivalent so you are never chasing ingredients across town. The goal is a way of eating your whole household can share, not a separate "diet meal" cooked for one person.
| Indian staple | Usually found at | If it is hard to get |
|---|---|---|
| Toor, moong & masoor dal | Indian grocery stores; masoor (red lentils) in most supermarkets | Red or green lentils, chickpeas |
| Jowar, bajra, ragi atta | Indian grocery stores and online | Whole-wheat flour mixed with oats or buckwheat |
| Paneer | Indian stores; many supermarkets | Firm tofu, or Greek yoghurt for protein |
| Dahi (curd) | Any supermarket | Plain, unsweetened natural or Greek yoghurt |
| Lauki, tinda, turai | Indian and Asian greengrocers | Courgette (zucchini), marrow, cucumber |
| Fresh methi & sarson | Indian greengrocers | Frozen methi, kasuri methi, spinach, kale |
Meal timings are planned around your actual day — a long commute, a night shift or a weekend that looks nothing like the weekdays — rather than an "ideal" schedule nobody keeps. Festivals, family visits and travel are planned for too, so one celebration does not undo a month of progress.

How an online consultation works
There is nothing to travel to. Everything happens on your phone or laptop, in English or Hindi.
Message on WhatsApp. Tell us your city and a good time to talk. The first consultation is ₹599 (60 minutes).
Video consultation. Calls run Monday to Saturday, 9 AM–7 PM India time, and a slot is fixed that suits your time zone. You go through your health history, reports, routine and food preferences together.
Your personalised plan. An Indian food-based plan built around your goals, your work hours and the groceries available where you live.
Follow-ups & WhatsApp support. Share meals, weight and questions on WhatsApp between sessions. The plan is revised as your body responds.
Because most day-to-day guidance happens on WhatsApp, a difference of a few hours rarely matters — you send a message when it suits you and get a reply during India working hours.

Frequently asked questions
Can I consult an Indian dietitian online if I live outside India?
Yes. Dt. Himani Sharma consults online worldwide by video call and WhatsApp. Clients in the UAE, Gulf countries, the USA, UK, Canada, Australia, Singapore and elsewhere follow the same process as clients in India: a 60-minute first consultation, a personalised Indian food-based plan and regular follow-ups.
Will the diet plan use food I can buy in my country?
Yes. Every plan is written around what is available where you live. Most staples — dal, rice, atta, millets, paneer, curd and spices — are easy to find in supermarkets or Indian grocery stores, and where something is hard to get, the plan uses a local equivalent instead.
How do consultations work across time zones?
Video consultations run Monday to Saturday, 9 AM to 7 PM India time (IST), and a slot is fixed that suits your time zone. Day-to-day guidance, food photos and plan changes happen on WhatsApp, so time-zone differences rarely get in the way.
Which health conditions do you help with online?
Weight loss, PCOS and PCOD, type 2 diabetes and pre-diabetes, thyroid, high cholesterol and heart health, fatty liver, gut health, and nutrition through pregnancy and after delivery. Plans are based on your medical history and lab reports.
How much does an online consultation cost?
The first consultation is ₹599 and includes a health assessment, lab report review and goal setting. Diet plans start at ₹1,499 for one week; the 4-week plan is ₹3,299 and the 12-week plan is ₹8,799. Prices are in Indian rupees and are the same wherever you live.
Can I also join yoga sessions online?
Yes. Dt. Himani Sharma is also a Certified Yogaacharya and runs live online yoga — group batches, small groups and personal one-to-one sessions — which can be combined with a diet plan.
